Description
These delicate black summer truffles are by now among the most known and appreciated around the world also thanks to their easy availability and affordable price. Their delicate aroma has hints of earthiness, hazelnuts, roasted malt and vanilla.
Different kinds of oak trees especially kermes trees can give the maximum of this kind of truffle. Our team knows these forests where the soil also offes hints of special flavors.
It is black in colour and it has an almost alligator skin texture, formed of protruding warts, rough and pointed at the ends. It presents lighter gleba than the other varieties of black truffles that means that has a nut flash with yellowish tones crossed by branches of white veins.
If you love salads, we propose this truffle to add unparalleled odour and nutritious elements. What’s more, it is ideal to make truffle butter. See our recipes here.
